The Sacramento Kings Are Officially The Worst Team In The NBA
So far, the 2010-11 NBA season has not been kind to the Sacramento Kings and the sad part is it will probably get worse. They Stink!! After last night’s 117-109 overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors, the Kings record is a putrid 5-21!! The Kings had a huge lead late but couldn’t hold on.
DeMarcus Cousins
This team is just god awful. They have no leadership and no “go-to” guy. We all thought that the “go to” guy would be Tyreke Evans, but he has gotten worse since his 2009-10 rookie season. Evans looks lost out there on the court and he is regressing as an NBA player.
Sacramento does have DeMarcus Cousins, and he will be good, but right now he is so raw and is learning on the job, so to speak. But the biggest surprise is Tyreke. In his rookie season he averaged 20.1 points per game with 5.8 assists. This year, his scoring is down to 16.8 points per game. And for a team that doesn’t have any consistent scorers, Tyreke’s drop off has really hurt.
The Sacramento Kings were such a solid team back in the late 90′s and early 2000′s when they had guys like Vlade Divac, Mike Bibby, Peja and C-Webb. Man how this team has fallen..HARD!! And the future doesn’t look any brighter either. Remember when visiting teams had NO chance of winning at ARCO Arena? Well, these days opposing teams come into ARCO and dominate this garbage Kings team. It’s embarrassing. I have been a Kings fan since they moved to Sacramento in 1985 and have seen alot of hard times and some good times. But right now, it seems like this 2010-11 Kings team may be it’s worst in their Sacramento
era.
Could this be a setup by the Maloofs, the Kings owners? Could they be making this team so bad that it will make it easy for them to pack up and move the team? If that is their plan, it seems to be working, because attendance is way down. And with the pathetic play of this awful team, who would want to pay to see this garbage. Yes folks, the Sacramento Kings are the worst team in the NBA right now.
